CONCORD UNIVERSITY STUDENTS COMPETING AS FINALISTS

IN REGIONAL INVITATIONAL IDEA PITCH COMPETITION

ATHENS, W.Va. – Four Concord University students will compete as finalists in the Regional Invitational Idea Pitch Competition.

The team of Silvin Mongella and Levi Osawe, along with individuals Jenna Mounts and Allison Moore, will be pitching their ideas on Thursday, Feb. 21, 2019 from 5-7 p.m. at the WVU Tech campus in Beckley. They are competing to win prize money to use to further develop their ideas. Judges votes are weighted, but audience members can vote for their favorite pitch.

“They have all been working so hard this semester on their own ideas, and what they want to do. This is such an exciting competition for them,” stated Angela Addair, Director of Entrepreneurial Studies.

“All four students are pursuing an entrepreneurship minor with their degrees as well. I know they will continue to follow their passion well beyond the classroom,” she said.
