ADMITTED STUDENT DAY BEING HELD AT CONCORD UNIVERSITY
ATHENS, W.Va. – The Concord University Office of Admissions is hosting Admitted Student Day on Friday, March 22, 2019 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on the Athens campus. An optional tour will be held beginning at 3 p.m.
“Admitted Student Day is a fantastic opportunity for students who have been accepted to Concord University for the fall semester to get an inside look at what it’s like to be a college student,” stated Maizy Landreth, Admissions Counselor.
Students and their families are invited to sit in on multiple informational sessions that will include academic department presentations and presentations from Residence Life, the Academic Success Center and Financial Aid.
Additionally, there will be an Involvement Fair from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. in the Subway Sides in the Student Center that will feature current student organizations showcasing how they contribute to the campus community. The list of organizations includes: Greek life, honors clubs, academics, athletics and more. Event attendees will be able to talk with students who are currently involved in the clubs and learn further information about them, such as how to join.
