ATHENS, W.Va. – Concord University is among testing sites for the College-Level Examination Program® (CLEP®). CLEP is a credit-by-examination program, sponsored by the College Board, which gives students the opportunity to earn college credit by earning qualifying scores on exams.

The computer-based exams are offered in more than 30 subjects ranging across the natural sciences, social sciences and humanities. Students receive their scores immediately upon completion of the exam (except for College Composition).
The cost per test is $77. Concord University does not charge a sitting fee and it is not necessary to be enrolled at Concord University or any college in order to take a CLEP test.

Valuable resources for test takers are available at the CLEP website: www.collegeboard.com/clep. The free CLEP Official Study Guide helps students learn more about the exams and decide which exams to take. Individual subject guides are offered on the CLEP website for $10 each.

For more information about taking a CLEP test, visit www.collegeboard.com/clep. To schedule an exam at Concord University, contact Teresa Frey, (304) 384-5226, or visit www.concord.edu
