West Virginia Humanities Council Conducting Grant-Writing Workshop At Concord University
WEST VIRGINIA HUMANITIES COUNCIL CONDUCTING
GRANT-WRITING WORKSHOP AT CONCORD UNIVERSITY
ATHENS, W.Va. – The Concord University Office of Sponsored Programs is hosting a grant- writing workshop conducted by Ms. Amy Saunders, grants administrator for the West Virginia Humanities Council, on Friday, May 4, 2012. The workshop will be held from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in the Rahall Technology Center, Room 103.
This workshop is designed to better acquaint Concord faculty, staff and the surrounding community with the Humanities Council’s grant guidelines and application process. The West Virginia Humanities Council is the state affiliate of the National Endowment for the Humanities and serves West Virginia through grants and direct programs in the humanities.
A variety of matching grants are offered by the Council year-round to nonprofit organizations in West Virginia that support educational programming. Grant guidelines and applications are available on the West Virginia Humanities Council website, www.wvhumanities.org
