Concord University Hosting Performance of ‘Pearls of Wisdom’
ATHENS, W.Va. – In honor of Black History Month, the Concord University Office of Multicultural Affairs will be presenting “Pearls of Wisdom” staged by 4Pals Productions. The production will be held Tuesday, Feb, 18 at 7 p.m. on the Main Stage of the Alexander Fine Arts Theatre.
“Pearls of Wisdom” is the long awaited sequel to “The Passing of the Pearl” and was written by Concord alumnus, Vain Colby.
The production is set in the South during the Civil Right era of the 1960s. Producers say this performance will leave the audience members with a positive, fresh outlook on living and loving. The original cast is reprising their roles with the addition of three new cast members. The production is free and open to the public. Reservations are not required.
