ATHENS, W.Va. – The 13th annual International Gifts Festival will be held at Concord University from April 28 to May 2 in the International Center from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily. The International Center is located across from the post office in Concord’s Jerry and Jean Beasley Student Center on the Athens campus.

Nancy Ellison, director of multicultural affairs, says the festival provides “an opportunity for students, faculty, staff, and community members to purchase unique handcrafted items locally.”

“The artisans, who are from third world countries, benefit from each purchase,” she said.

The International Students Club sponsors this event each year.
