Faculty Vocal Concert Being Held At Concord University

ATHENS, W.Va. – Concord University will be hosting a Faculty Vocal Concert on Thursday, Feb. 12 at 7 p.m. in the Wilkes Family Chapel located at University Point on Concord University’s Athens campus.

The vocal concert will include music performed by Concord faculty and others as well as the “AdHoctet” which is a visiting men’s vocal ensemble. Members of the ensemble include Julian Cooper, music professor Kelly Hudson, adjunct professors JJ Hudson and Laurel Black, and Concord alum Jordan Stadvec.

The faculty and others will perform 16th-century madrigals and chansons, and the guest ensemble, the “AdHoctet,” will be singing pieces for men’s choir.

Hudson states, “We have been preparing for several months, it should be a great concert!”

Admission for the event is free and open to the public.
