CONCORD UNIVERSITY PERCUSSION ENSEMBLE TO PERFORM
ATHENS, W.Va. – The Concord University Percussion Ensemble will present a concert on Thursday, April 30, 2015 at 6 p.m. in the Alexander Fine Arts Center’s main auditorium. The Alexander Fine Arts Center is located on Concord’s main campus at 1000 Vermillion Street in Athens, W.Va.
The Percussion Ensemble concert will feature six students, Austin Bolden, Roman Runyon, Preston Bennett, Matt Harvey, Sarah Bailey, and Saul Harlow. The concert will also feature soloist Laurel Black performing “Marimba Spiritual” by Minoru Miki, which was written about the early 1980s famine in Africa.
