PART OF CONCORD UNIVERSITY’S FOUNDERS’ DAY FESTIVAL
ATHENS, W.Va. – The Founders’ Day Festival Vendor Fair will be held at Concord University on Saturday, April 23 as part of Founders’ Day Festival events. The fair will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in both indoor and outdoor venues winding through “The Campus Beautiful.”
Nearly 50 vendors are registered representing businesses and organizations from arts and crafts to household goods, jewelry and beauty products.
The festival also includes a wide range of family-friendly events such as face painting, photos with Concord’s mascot ROAR and the CU Cheerleaders, a reading circle hosted by the Marsh Library, educational games and a children’s play, “The Frog Prince.” The day will be filled with fun for all ages with a DJ, food and the CU Mountain Lions Spring Football game at noon.
In the event of inclement weather the Vendor Fair will be held in the Carter Center Gymnasium.
Additional vendor space is available and reservations will be accepted through April 15. The cost is $20 per space or $25 per space with electricity. To register for a vendor space online go to: http://www.concord.edu/cufoundation/founders
