76 Trombones? Not Necessary (Pun Intended) With Concord Professor and His One!

Athens, W.Va. - Accomplished musician, Andrew Necessary, professor of trombone and director of bands at Concord College, will give a recital of trombone and piano music Tuesday, March 7, 2000 at 7:00 p.m. The performance will be in the Main Auditorium of the Alexander Fine Arts Center, Concord College.

Dr. Jane Smith, professor of piano at Concord College, will accompany Mr. Necessary on piano. The two will be performing selections by Serocki, Pergolesi, Bernstein, Kreisler and Sulek.

Concord College Notes: The Communication Arts Department produces the College's student newspaper, radio programming and television programming. The department also produces theatrical and musical productions. It is organized similar to today's modern corporation with the students completing projects under both student and faculty supervision. This gives students real-world experience that focuses on accountability and responsibility.
