CONCORD UNIVERSITY OFFICE OF ADMISSIONS

HOSTING ADMITTED STUDENT DAY

ATHENS, W.Va. – The Concord University Office of Admissions is hosting Admitted Student Day on Friday, March 23 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on the Athens campus.

Prospective students who have been admitted for the Fall 2018 semester will have an opportunity to get a closer look at Concord University, from academics and financial aid to residence and campus life. There will be informational sessions covering various topics for students and their families to attend along with an Involvement Fair featuring campus organizations to cap off the evening.

Refreshments will be provided, and there will be an opportunity to tour the campus prior to the event at 3 p.m. There is no cost to attend.

“This event allows students who are set on attending Concord to make connections with faculty, staff, current students, and their future classmates in a relaxed atmosphere before starting classes in the fall,” stated Morgan Billups, Admissions Counselor. “For those who may still be deciding which university to attend it helps them get a closer look at what Concord is all about and how much the University has to offer.”

“This is a great opportunity to meet others who will be attending Concord in the fall and find out what it is like to live and learn on ‘The Campus Beautiful’ from current students, hear more about some of the most popular academic programs, and get a look at the numerous campus organizations to be involved with,” she said.
