DR. JACOB WOMACK PRESENTING PIANO RECITAL AT CONCORD UNIVERSITY

 

ATHENS, W.Va. – Concord University Music Faculty Instructor, Dr. Jacob Womack, will be giving a free piano recital on Monday, February 18 at 7 p.m. in the Alexander Fine Arts Center Main Auditorium. The recital program will feature works by Chopin, Debussy, Ginastera, and Messiaen.

           

Dr. Womack joined the Concord Faculty in 2013 and was a prizewinner in the WV International Piano Competition in both the classical and jazz categories. Womack serves as the National Commissioner for Teaching Certification for the Music Teachers National Association and is the Immediate Past President for the WV Music Teachers Association. He has concertized in many states including Texas, Illinois, Virginia, Alabama, Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Ohio.
