Mission of the Pre-Health Advisory Committee at Concord University
The objective of the committee is to aid students in preparing for health professional school entrance exams (e.g. MCAT, DAT, GRE) and providing students the opportunity to build a strong health professional school application.

Resume Assistance - PHAC can review your resume.
Personal Statement Assistance – PHAC will review and edit your statement.
Mock Interviews – PHAC will give you a mock interview with feedback to help you succeed in the real thing!
Mentoring – PHAC members have open door policies for any questions or concerns you may have during your academic journey.
Committee Letter – The spring semester before applying for professional school you can apply for a recommendation from the committee. This letter is written by all members of the committee and is a valuable asset for your application.
Workshops and Programs Offered
Resume Workshop – Learn the formatting and information that should be included on a resume.
Personal Statement Workshops – Brainstorm ideas for and get feedback on your personal statement.
Entrance Exam Info Workshop – Information that will help you prepare for entrance exams. PHAC also has materials on reserve at the library for you to use.
Health Professional School Visits – Regional professional schools visit to discuss their programs and admission requirements.
Health Careers Exploration course – Learn about careers in the health fields and prepare for completing a professional school application.
