Dr. Falco received a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Maryland-College Park and earned a master’s degree and a doctorate in psychology (with a concentration in biopsychology) from George Mason University. After finishing her doctorate, Falco traveled to Lincoln, Neb. where she completed postdoctoral training at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Her past and current teaching interests include physiological psychology, psychopharmacology and animal behavior. Her research combines neuroscience, pharmacology, psychology and animal behavior to examine factors that predict reactivity to nicotine in rats, as a model of smoking behavior in humans.
