Bonner Scholars Program Coordinator

Concord University Research and Development Corporation

Individual will provide admin support for the Bonner Scholars program with emphasis on student development, student training and database management. Responsibilities will include:  design/deliver training modules for students; develop a comprehensive calendar of student development activities for each term; organize/lead student service experiences; assist students with identifying service/learning opportunities; develop and implement reflection experiences; monitor student data entry, maintain on-line reporting database; counsel students; advise/assist Bonner Director with special projects; additional related duties.

Bachelor’s degree required. Three years of experience in student development and/or student programming, including student advising and program admin.  Ability to work independently, problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills, ability to relate well to students from all backgrounds, time management and organizational skills.  Position requires travel for service trips and Bonner Foundation events.  A valid driver’s license is required.

Full – Time Assistant Teacher

Concord University Child Development Center

Full Time Assistant Teacher --- The Concord University Child Development Center is accepting resumes for a full-time Assistant Teacher. This a great opportunity for retired teachers or anyone who likes working with children. We are seeking individuals who are interested in helping the center provide top-quality safe childcare, while also providing opportunity to engage in developmentally appropriate curriculum in order to provide a rich and engaging learning environment.

Qualifications include candidates with a degree in Early Childhood Education or presently working toward a degree in Early Childhood or with equivalent credits as defined by NAEYC criteria.  Candidates that hold a CDA awarded by the Council for Professional Recognition, ACDS Certificate or equivalent as defined by NAEYC will also be considered.  Experience working in a childcare setting is preferred.
