Welcome to Concord University!  We are now back from Spring Break 2018 and before you know it we will be celebrating Commencement on Saturday, May 5.

As the Vice President for Information Technology & Chief Information Officer, I want to welcome you to our campus and thank you for visiting our web site!

NEW: We are now in the Spring 2018 semester and I'm delighted to announce implementation of 24x7 technical support for students, faculty and staff.  You can access this support by calling 304-384-5291 or visiting ithelp.concord.edu where you can select the options to Chat or Create Case.

The Office of Technology Services supports the mission and the administrative and strategic goals of Concord University by providing appropriate information technology and related services and support for students, staff, faculty, alumni, and the community.

Our Technology Services team provides campus wide infrastructure services, including systems and operations, networking, telecommunications and applications development.  In addition, we provide instructional technology support and client support for our students, faculty and staff.

We are a service oriented support department.  As such, we are committed to providing quality customer service and continually evaluate ourselves to foster improvement.  As we maintain and improve today's technology services, we also envision and create the information technology environment that will best meet Concord’s needs in the future.  We take this responsibility very seriously.

Our focus will remain on continually improving our services and doing the best we can with what we have, to meet your technology needs efficiently and effectively.

We know we can be successful only with the support of those we serve.  We welcome your feedback at computing@concord.edu and please feel free to contact me directly.  I’m in room 300 in the Rahall Technology Center, at (304) 384-5334, and my e-mail address is celliott@concord.edu. Additionally, you can share your suggestions and concerns with your representative on the University Technology Committee, including any suggestions you have regarding the 2016-2021 Technology Plan.

Together we can continue making great things happen at Concord University!

Sincerely,

Chuck Elliott
VP for Information Technology & Chief Information Officer
