Biography
Madeline is a Concord alumna, completing both her BSW and MSW through Concord University. Madeline is also a Licensed Social Worker through the West Virginia Board of Social Work and has experience working in the child welfare system. Prior to working within Concord University’s Social Work Department, Madeline enjoyed working with foster and adoptive families along their journey to becoming certified resource parents in West Virginia. Madeline gained valuable experience through certifying families across various counties in southern West Virginia and a passion for serving children and families.
As the Child Welfare Curriculum and Training Specialist, Madeline continues aiding families along their journey to becoming certified foster parents in West Virginia. She plays a major role in the development and implementation of trauma-informed kinship/foster care training curricula across the state. At CU, Madeline enjoys working in collaboration with other WV Social Work Education Consortium (SWEC) Universities to offer specialized training to support the needs of WV children and families.
