We, the students of Concord University, being fully aware of the responsibilities, obligations, rights, and privileges we possess as members of the Concord University Community, do hereby promise to maintain an organization to represent student interests, opinions, and actions at Concord University. What is SGA? | SGA Meetings | SGA Documents | Executive Branch | Legislative Branch | Judicial Branch | Connect With Us The Concord University Student Government Association (SGA) is an organization dedicated to representing student interests, opinions, and actions at Concord University. Our SGA is comprised of three branches: Executive, Legislative, and Judicial. Each branch has a unique role in establishing our organization as a true voice of the students, and each branch offers unique opportunities to students who wish to become more involved! The SGA Student Senate meets every Wednesday at 4 pm in the State Room on the main floor of the Jerry & Jean Beasley Student Center. All students are welcome at SGA meetings and input is encouraged, but please remember that only Delegates and Organizational Representatives may vote. The Executive Branch is made up of nine individuals with at least one semester of experience in SGA. SGA’s Executive Branch works together to inspire policy, plan events, and collect student input in order to further campus initiatives and improve the student experience. Our Executive Board is a cohesive team that strives towards a common goal of upholding the mission of the SGA and being a powerful force for positive change on our campus. Each position is elected by the student body in the Spring, and you must have one semester of experience in SGA before applying.
