Virginia Metro Tuition

Two States, One Rate

Your college options don’t stop at the state line. First-time undergraduate students from Virginia who enroll at Concord University for FALL 2026 will get the same in-state tuition and fees rate as our residents (must be legal residents of Virginia to qualify). No separate application is required.

The VA metro tuition rate is equal to our in-state tuition rate, which can be found on our Tuition & Fees webpage.

The average tuition and fees rate for in-state students in Virginia is $14,462 (according to SCHEV), while Concord’s in-state tuition and fees for 2025-2026 is $9,464. Concord University students have the lowest student loan debt of any state university in West Virginia. More than $3.6 million were awarded between the CU Foundation and institutional aid last year.

Concord University is dedicated to providing all students with an affordable, high-quality education.
