Tuition Reduction

Out-of-state residents may qualify for one of our Tuition Reduction Programs either by pursuing a qualifying major, residing in a qualifying state, or being a child of an educator. West Virginia residents, Graduate students and International students do NOT qualify. Students receiving merit scholarships will have Tuition Reduction applied automatically to their financial aid award.

To be eligible, a student must be a first-time, full-time freshman or transfer student residing on-campus, maintain a 2.0 GPA, and be in good standing with the University’s SAP policy. Should a student receiving Tuition Reduction move off-campus, change to a major not eligible for Tuition Reduction, or not fulfill the criteria of the reduced rate that student will lose Tuition Reduction.
