Cameron Shannon earned his Bachelor of Science in Education and Master of Education in Educational Leadership and now serves as Assistant Principal at Ridgeview Elementary School in Crab Orchard, WV. A former Concord men’s basketball student-athlete, he brings a “championship mindset” to education, emphasizing character development, strong relationships, and student growth. He was named Raleigh County Teacher of the Year for 2021–2022 and was a finalist for West Virginia State Teacher of the Year. Beyond the school setting, he is actively involved in youth mentorship through the Fellowship of Christian Athletes basketball league and the YMCA, reflecting his ongoing commitment to leadership, service, and community engagement.
