Savanna Adkins ’18

Savanna Adkins earned her Bachelor of Social Work, is the Adoption Program Manager for the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption in Columbus, Ohio, where she oversees a team of 40 professionals across Connecticut, Maine, and Michigan. With seven years of dedicated experience in child welfare, she has served more than 1,000 children and youth, completed over 300 home studies resulting in kinship and known-placement adoptions, and provided expert testimony in court more than 100 times to support outcomes in the best interests of children and families. She also contributes her expertise through service on a regional advisory council focused on advocating for vulnerable children and youth, reflecting her sustained commitment to strengthening permanency and support systems for families.
