College Credit for Military Experience

Concord University proudly accepts credit for military training and experience. All veteran and military-affiliated students are encouraged to request their Joint Services Transcript (JST) be sent directly to Concord University.

We recognize that the training you completed in the military provides many of the skills and competencies required in our academic programs. Concord is committed to awarding as much credit as possible based on the American Council on Education (ACE) recommendations.

To request your official military transcripts, please use the links below:

Please note: Some Department of Defense websites may prompt you with a security certificate warning. This is normal; you may proceed if you trust the site.

Once your documents are received, Concord University will automatically begin a formal evaluation of your military experience for potential college credit.

If you served before 1981, you may submit a DD214, 2-1, 2A, or DD295 for evaluation.

Concord University offers multiple degree pathways designed to support our veteran and military students. We work to identify programs that align with military training and experience, including flexible online options.

Highlighted pathways include:

  • Air University – Associate to B.S. Interdisciplinary Studies (IDS)
  • College of the American Soldier (CAS) Pathway
