Biography
Mr. Bailey earned an ASB from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh with an emphasis in Music and Video Business in 1993 and began his career at WOWK-TV, where he developed his skills in news production and photography. In 1996, he joined Stanley Communications as Director of Video Production, leading award-winning projects for local and regional clients. In 1998, Mr. Bailey returned to broadcast television at WVNS-TV as Production Manager and also began teaching as an Adjunct Instructor here at Concord University. In 2003, he joined Concord full-time as a Director/Producer, contributing to numerous multimedia initiatives and helping develop the university’s LPFM radio station, WVCU 97.7. He later served as Manager of Instructional Video and, in 2013, Manager of Radio and TV Services.
In 2021, Mr. Bailey became an Instructor of Media Studies while also serving as Manager of Institutional Media Services. In 2026 Mr. Bailey earned a Master of Advanced Study in Film and Media Studies from Arizona State University, supporting his focus on film analysis and digital media.
