Barbera, W. Andrew

As a student, Andrew Barbera found Concord University to be home early on as he joined the Cross Country and Track teams. During his time at Concord, Barbera served as the team captain, worked in the student ambassador program, and played lots of intramural sports.

An avid outdoorsman & lover of sports, Barbera found his calling as the Director of Intramural Sports & Outdoor Recreation. In this role, he leads students through various outdoor excursions, teaches fair sportsmanship, and helps make CU an great experience for all students. Still having the love for running, Barbera also serves as an assistant coach for the Cross Country and Track Programs.
