Biography

Originally from Jamaica, Demoy Daye is the Coordinator of Campus Recreation at Concord University. He is passionate about creating recreational opportunities that foster student wellness, leadership, and a strong sense of community. Demoy earned a Bachelor of Education in Physical Education from GC Foster College of Physical Education and Sport and a Master of Arts in Health Promotion from Concord University. During his graduate studies, he served in leadership roles within Campus Recreation, Residence Life, and NCAA Division II athletics, while also guest lecturing and delivering health education presentations at educational institutions in the United States.

Demoy believes campus recreation plays a vital role in the student experience by promoting connection, personal growth, and lifelong wellness. He is committed to creating inclusive programs that encourage students to challenge themselves, build meaningful relationships, and make the most of their time at Concord. Outside of work, he enjoys coaching, fitness, reading, and giving back to the communities he serves.
