Woolwine, Lora

I am a proud native of West Virginia and a graduate of Concord University, where I earned a Bachelor of Social Work with a concentration in Children and Families. My career in higher education has included a variety of roles, with experience in Student Affairs, housing, and institutional support. I currently serve as the Executive Assistant to the President, Board Liaison, and Esports Program Liaison.

With a strong background in office management, event planning, research, conflict resolution, and fundraising, I am passionate about supporting teams and advancing institutional goals. I am also proficient in a range of software platforms and social media tools. Additionally, I hold the Board Professionals Certification from the Association of Governing Boards.

I have been honored to receive several recognitions during my time at Concord University. Most recently, I was awarded the 2024–2025 Esports Excellence Award in recognition of my contributions to the Concord Esports Program and selected as a 2025 Presidential Excellence Award recipient. These acknowledgments reflect my deep commitment to Concord and its vibrant, forward-thinking community.

Concord University holds a very special place in my heart. I am incredibly proud to be a Mountain Lion and part of a campus community filled with ambition, talent, and a shared vision for the future.

Outside of my professional life, I’ve been happily married to my husband, David Woolwine, for 22 years. We share our home with two beloved furbabies. In my free time, I enjoy crafting, reading, traveling, and spending quality time with family and friends.
