Epling, Brenda

Biography

Brenda Epling is an Assistant Professor of Education. She teaches in the elementary program at the undergraduate level. Prior to joining the Concord family, she taught in the public school for 8 years. Brenda has taught kindergarten, first, and second grade. She has served as a Title I educator and as an interventionist in a program titled, “Walk to Intervention.” Brenda has earned an Associate of Arts (Mountain State University), a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education K-6 (Concord University), a Masters of Education (Concord University), and National Board Certification in Early and Middle Childhood Literacy. She is currently pursuing her PhD in Teaching and Leadership through University of North Dakota. Brenda is very passionate about education. She enjoys sharing this love of teaching with future educators.

When Brenda is not teaching and engaging in scholarship, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their two daughters.
