Biography
Dr. Hegarty’s research interests include intersectional and critical race theory, acculturation and migration trauma, prevention of gender-based violence and capacity building within the context of community and policy advocacy. Dr. Hegarty has also serves on numerous community-based committees and is a community leader in the social justice advocacy space.
