CONCORD ESPORTS IS UP FOR TWO AWARDS BY ESPORTSU

ATHENS, WV – Concord Esports has been selected as a finalist for two awards presented by EsportsU for Program of the Year and Program Impact. This nomination helps promote the program to a wider audience and establishes Concord as a leader on the collegiate Esports scene. It’s also an opportunity to further support the Esports structure in West Virginia and showcase local talent.

EsportsU, owned and operated by Collegiate Sports Management Group (CSMG), is the nation’s most trusted provider of college Esports solutions and services, which supports over 500 universities to establish, commercialize, and grow Esports programs. The company aims to attract the brightest students, accelerate educational impact, and maximize engagement through the medium of gaming, thereby shaping the long-term success of college esports.

Concord’s Esports Director, Austin Clay says of this accomplishment, “Being nominated for these awards will help our players get more exposure to LAN events (in-person events) due to the increase in exposure from the nomination or by winning. We hope we can bring home the award to show that the Mountain State is once again on top.”
