Step back into the early 20th century and enjoy a silent film with live piano! “The General” is widely considered to be one of the best films ever made. This comedy feature is structured around a southern train engineer, Johnny Gray (Buster Keaton) facing off against union soldiers during the civil war. When Johnny’s finance, Annabelle Lee (Marion Mack) is taken away by northern soldiers, Gray pursues the soldiers which leads to an hour long adventure filled with hilarious mishaps. Parts of the film are still used today in television commercials for its outstanding comedy.
