Program Information

By pursuing a degree in Communication Arts, students are offered the opportunity to work in a live radio and television studio on campus. Many of our graduates find immediate employment with local news affiliates, such as WVNS, and others have started successful independent media companies. The degree culminates with a 3-hour internship or practicum in a business or media workplace. Students apply technical and communication theories and practices acquired during their degree studies.
