Program Information
The Master of Arts in Teaching Program is a 36 hour online program that provides the professional education courses and clinical experiences, including student teaching, necessary to prepare individuals for teaching in a specific content area in grades PreK-Adult, 5-Adult, or 9-Adult. This program is not designed to offer licensure in elementary or special education. A transcript analysis will be required for admission and to identify any additional undergraduate content that may need to be completed to meet the requirements for the master’s degree and licensure in the secondary content specialization areas offered through Concord University as defined in WV Policy 5100.
