Program Information
Students majoring in Political Science acquire context for important stories in the news regarding Supreme Court decisions, upcoming elections, and the US’s relationship with its friends and rivals. Students get the opportunity to refine their career interests through a required 120-hour internship opportunity with a government or non-profit office, political campaign, law office, or similar organization. Qualifying students may join Pi Sigma Alpha, the National Political Science Honors Society, which has an active chapter on campus.
