English (Minor)

The English minor provides you with research and communication skills that can prepare you for a variety of careers. In addition to our regularly offered classes, there is the opportunity to complete independent studies in aspects of writing or literature that interest you. Some examples of previous independent studies include manga, environmental literature, Kurt Vonnegut, and Stephen King.

English also works well as an additional major or minor, easily completed in 4 years.

The program is a member of the Associated Departments of English.
